GX-700 Sound Station

Hi,

Im using Windows 7 up to date patched, Ver 1.09 on GX-700 and 4.23 Edit. I cannot get the comunication to work at all. Do I have to load and .net or older to config. I am using a usb to MIDI wire which workes on my drum machine. Maybe im doing somthing sill followed all midi match and other instructions. Is there another firm Eprom I need from Boss? Please help, I used your product over 10 ears ago and im so glad to see you are still here. PS my GX was in storage for 10 years so mayybe its my bad..Dooh but just incase please get in touch. Thanks...

Can you please try to dump the User patch data from and to your GX-700 with an universal SysEx dumper software to see if it works?

Hi guys, false alarm. It was the usb port on my PC and also found MIDI cable fault. All connecting now, thanks for reading and sorry for false alarm.. Doooh!
