28/04/2017 - Version 4.28

  • Another hot-fix for subclassing of buttons, which is now disabled by default. Issues under Windows 7 and probably on later versions of the OS.
  • Added checks in the name/comment window and bank information window to not handle clicking on "OK" as if something was changed, if no real change the save button among other items in the interface aren't enabled now.
  • Fixed possible access violation caused by the bank information comment/description exceeding the buffer limit (all 2000 bytes used on it).

27/04/2017 - Version 4.27

  • Hotfix for some subclassing behaviours.

26/04/2017 - Version 4.26

  • Subclassing of standard buttons, making some dialog-boxes look more integrated with the interface.
  • Made the checkboxes and radiobuttons by-scheme-configurable, every single color.
  • Updated visual schemes, the 2 dark matter variants.

17/04/2017 - Version 4.25

  • New installer version available.
  • Added a mutex to disallow multiple instances.
  • Added a menu item to check for updates.

07/11/2016 - Version 4.24

26/06/2013 - Version 4.22

  • Added a new visual scheme called "Dark Matter".

10/06/2013 - Version 4.21

  • Updated the software and help file to point to the current forums.

03/05/2013 - Version 4.20

  • Visual Schemes introduced. The Visual Scheme "Aqua Blue" is included as a demonstration of the interface's appearance customization.
  • The software does not alter the registry on every startup to associate the GX7 and LB7 file extensions to the application anymore. It only does when the menu item "Register extensions" on the 'Options' menu is clicked
  • Several enhancements and bug-fixes.
  • Fixed broken favorite patches not loading.
  • New help system, based in 'HTML Help'.
Important note on this help system change:
The use of "HTML Help" of the new help system breaks compatibility with Windows 95. The Software won't start on this OS, reporting a missing DLL with a message box. It's not a real issue for Windows users as noone seems to use this ancient OS. That being said, it would be an issue with Mac's users using this software on a virtual machine running Windows 95. For those in that scenario, the problem gets solved by installing HTML Help from Microsoft, also, Internet Explorer since version 4 includes the "HTML Help" files, required for this help system to work. The version 4.11 will still be available as download for this reason.

21/01/2013 - Version 4.11

  • Fixed several inconsistencies.
  • Improved behaviour of dialogs and the interface.

13/01/2013 - Version 4.10

  • Changed panels' color when using the effect chain drag and drop swap.
  • Fixed more buttons' issues.

12/01/2013 - Version 4.09 - Hotfix

  • Fixed wrong behaviour of hot track on buttons.

11/01/2013 - Version 4.08

  • Added a "Hot-Track" feature to the buttons (font color changes when you hover the mouse on them).

08/01/2013 - Version 4.07

  • Although not very useful, the application now respects Roland's checksum convention on data sent to the device.
  • The software now exports SysEx files with correct and valid checksums too.
  • Fixed minor issues with some file dialog routines.

07/01/2013 - Version 4.06

  • Finally, the "Receive" button that requests the current edit buffer is back working.
Although not an essential feature, having a button on the main window that isn't working wasn't serious.

06/01/2013 - Version 4.05

  • Added an option to disable the synchronous flow sending of SysEx data.
  • Lowered the minimum time allowed for the smooth rise-time to 100 ms.
  • Added message boxes to notify manual presets saving.
