  • Several enhancements and bug-fixes.
  • Fixed broken favorite patches not loading.
  • New help system, based in 'HTML Help'.
Important note on this help system change:
The use of "HTML Help" of the new help system breaks compatibility with Windows 95. The Software won't start on this OS, reporting a missing DLL with a message box. It's not a real issue for Windows users as noone seems to use this ancient OS. That being said, it would be an issue with Mac's users using this software on a virtual machine running Windows 95. For those in that scenario, the problem gets solved by installing HTML Help from Microsoft, also, Internet Explorer since version 4 includes the "HTML Help" files, required for this help system to work. The version 4.11 will still be available as download for this reason.

11/01/2013 - Version 4.08

  • Added a "Hot-Track" feature to the buttons (font color changes when you hover the mouse on them).

08/01/2013 - Version 4.07

  • Although not very useful, the application now respects Roland's checksum convention on data sent to the device.
  • The software now exports SysEx files with correct and valid checksums too.
  • Fixed minor issues with some file dialog routines.

07/01/2013 - Version 4.06

  • Finally, the "Receive" button that requests the current edit buffer is back working.
Although not an essential feature, having a button on the main window that isn't working wasn't serious.

  • Lowered the minimum time allowed for the smooth rise-time to 100 ms.
